The NAMES Project-AIDS Memorial Quilt • June of 1985-1987-San Francisco • Gay right activist. Method of remembrance for those that died. • Today-More than 48,000, 3x6 ft panels • Last display of the whole quilt-1996 • Covered entire National Mall in Washington, D.C. • Educate public about history and current epidemic • At Edgewood, November 30th-December 7th, 2012 • Partnering with Art Department, Health Department • Information table with college resources available to students • Poster displaying current statistics about HIV/AIDS epidemic
