in food: • Pros: • Taste and quality • Enhanced flavors • Resistant to disease • Plants/animals • Vaccine into genetics instead of the immune system • Nutritional benefits • Vitamins/minerals added to provide better nutritional benefits • Cons: • Environment damage • Plants and livestock being grown in places that aren’t environmentally safe for them • No economic value • Takes the same amount of time and effort • Increase in allergic reactions • Feeding livestock with foods people have allergies to
