Singular and Plural Nouns • Singular = single • A singular noun only refers to one object • Examples? • Bag, computer, camera, paper • Plural = multiple • A plural noun refers to more than one object • Usually end in an “s” • Examples? • Books, kids, chips, birds • Can you think of any examples of plural nouns that do not end in an “s”? • Tooth = teeth
Adjective Describes a noun The large dog. The yellow bird. Examples?
Verb A verb is something you can physically do Word that expresses an action Run, jump, sleep, talk Other examples?
