  1. Get your watercolor • Supplies: • 1.Page from yesterday • Brushes • Cup of water • Napkin from yesterday. • Paint

  2. We will paint a Background and ground. Then we will add a building And a tree. • Get your watercolor • Supplies: • 1. Pencil • Brushes- detail • Cup of water • Napkin from yesterday. • Paint Objective: You will follow technique demonstration in order to discover new watercolor skills.

  3. Watercolor Artist • Find two images: • One watercolor landscape • One abstract watercolor • Glue in • Write artist’s name Homework 1. Find 3 landscape images that you will look at to paint your watercolor landscape. 2. Search: skies, trees, mountains, buildings, etc…

  4. Take out your Homework! • 1. Take a magazine from the LANDSCAPE MAGAZINE BOX. • Find 3 landscape images that you will look at to paint your watercolor landscape. • Put them in your landscape pocket. (Make one) • Get your watercolor • Supplies: • 1.Page from Friday • Detail Brush • Cup of water • Napkin from yesterday. • Paint • We will finish the building • And trees. Objective: You will follow technique demonstration in order to discover new watercolor skills.

  5. Take out your Homework! • 1. Take a magazine from the LANDSCAPE MAGAZINE BOX. • Find 3 landscape images that you will look at to paint your watercolor landscape. • Put them in your landscape pocket. (Make one) • Watercolor Artist • Find two images: • One watercolor landscape • One abstract watercolor • Glue in • Write artist’s name

  6. Today’s Goals: • Finish demo • Finish homework • Find watercolor artworks • Finish technique demo • Turn in sketchbook. • Today’s Grades: • Winter landscape • Watercolor experiment • Shapes techniques • Tree/ building • 3 landscapes to look at for ideas • Watercolor artists (2)

  7. If you are taking another ART class: • Bring your Registration sheet up to me to sign that you took Art 2. • If you took Art 1, I’ll sign for PHOTO, GRAPHICS, ART 3, CLAY, etc… • Let’s make a list of students that are signing up for ART 3.

  8. Watercolor Landscape Requirements • Had a background, middle ground, foreground. • Has a sky-has landscape qualities- outdoors • Look at 3 different images. • Use watercolor techniques • Has detail with small brush.

  9. Draw 1-2 Thumbnail sketches by looking at images. Required to draw it In sketchbook first. Optional to practice painting n sketchbook first.
