  1. SENIORS! Come to the guidance office within the next two weeks and make an appointment to begin the college application process. Remember→ your senior year is important! Keep your grades up, get organized, and stay involved!

IMPORTANT DATES forSeptember and October: September ► 9/17 - College Fair – SUNY Old Westbury (Sunday) 12:00 – 3:00 9/22 - Registration Deadline for October ACT 9/26 - College Night for Parents of SENIORS @ 7:00 pm 9/27 - NCAA College Eligibility for Student Athletes @ 7:30 pm October ► 10/01 - National College Fair- Nassau Coliseum (Sunday)11:00 – 4:00 10/14 - SAT (Saturday) 10/16 - Welcome Program for the parents of 9th & 10th graders@7:00 pm 10/21 - PSAT (Saturday) 10/28 - ACT (Saturday) HOMECOMING Saturday 28th of October!!!

  3. MINI-COLLEGE FAIRS… The Locust Valley Guidance Department coordinates the visitation of college representatives from numerous colleges & universities from throughout the United States. College Information Tables are setup outside the Guidance Office for students to speak to the representatives and to gather information from the different schools.

  4. COLLEGE MINI-FAIR SCHEDULE for SEPTEMBER 18TH: Representatives arrive at 1:00 and remain until 2:30 (unless otherwise noted) ➨ Catholic University Champlain College College of St. Rose Dowling College Fairfield University Five Towns College Kings College Lesley College LIM College LIU @ C.W.Post University Loyola College Manhattan College Marist College New York Institute of Technology Northwood College Providence College Rider University Rosemont College Seton University SUNY Plattsburgh SUNY Potsdam University of Rhode Island

COLLEGE MINI-FAIR SCHEDULE for September 25th: • The Art Institute • Berkeley College • FIT • Johnson & Wales • Lynn University • SUNY Albany • SUNY Binghamton • SUNY Buffalo State • SUNY College of Env. Science & Forestry • SUNY Farmingdale • SUNY Geneseo • SUNY Stony Brook • Trinity College • University of Miami • University of Richmond • University of Scranton • Utica College • Wagner College College Representatives will arrive at 1:00 and remain until 2:30. Tables will be setup outside of the Guidance Office.

INDIVIDUAL COLLEGE VISITS: • Swarthmore College 9/18 @ 8:00 am • George Washington University 9/20 @ 8:30 am • Hartwick College 9/20 @ 12:30 pm • Barnard College 9/21 @ 11:00 am • Colgate University 9/25 @ 8:00 am • Winthrop University 9/26 @ 8:30 am • Princeton University 9/27 @ 9:30 am • Quinnipiac University 9/28 @ 8:30 am • New York University 9/29 @ 10:00 am • Boston College 10/3 @ 8:00 am College Representatives for these individual visits will be in the guidance suite.
