  1. Artist Presentation and Reproduction Burns

  2. Find an Artist • Find an Artist Online • Make sure you like the artwork they complete • Since you will be reproducing a piece of their work, make sure its something you have the ability to complete. • There are a lot of artists that have created very simple work, avoid those.

  3. Create PowerPoint Presentation • 8-10 Slides • Title Slide- Artist Name and Your Name and Years Artist Lived • Information Slide: • Short Biography About the Artists Life ( Don’t Copy and Paste, Summarize what you Find) • 6-8 of their works • Save it to your computer • Make sure content is school appropriate • Insert one image to each slide • Using text box, overlay the title and the date the piece was complete (You may have to search for this information)

  4. Reproduction • Create a Piece of Artwork • Find a piece of art from the artist you research and reproduce one of their works • Try to use same materials as they used (DO NOT USE OIL PAINT, TALK WITH ME)

  5. Grading • 25 Presenting PowerPoint and Artwork • 25 Points for PowerPoint • 5 Title Page • 5 Biography Page • 15- 6-8 pages of artwork with title and dat • 50 Work of Art Based on The Artist • 10 Materials Appropriate • 20 Craftsmanship • 20 Technique
