  2. Turn off your phone… • (and put it away during class). • Come to class on time, prepared, & focused.

  3. Give 100 percent effort… • (realizing the final grade is based on your mastery of the material). • Learn the Material: Ask questions when something is unclear.

  4. Carefully read and consider ALL my comments on your written work, and apply them to the next assignment you have to complete.

  5. Get help when you need it. • Don’t wait until the end of semester to take action.

  6. Use absences wisely: read the syllabus daily. • Check the class website often.

  7. Make the class a priority. • Remember YOU are responsible for the grade you receive.
