  5. Innovations • Rivets added to stress points on jeans, when the rivets were added they were called jeans instead of denim pants

  6. Area of Technology • Production, includes manufacturing and construction

  7. Positive affect on society • Most people wear jeans • It can be a way to express yourself

  8. Negative affect on society • Pant companies haven’t been as successful from the time that jeans were invented
