Dilemmas • What would you do if… • you found your English test in the school bathroom? • you ran over a cat in a residential area of town? • you found $200 on an empty bus late at night? • someone bought you a CD for your birthday and you hated the group? • an ex-boy /girlfriend wanted to come and stay with you for two days while your current partner is out of town? • someone in a shop gave you a $50 note instead of $5? • the teacher came into class with toothpaste on his/her nose? • you went to use your host's bathroom during a dinner party and found their 10 year-old son smoking inside?

  2. Karen came out of the sea holding her foot in pain. Kate was dancing around the room with a letter in her hand. When Jane met her father at the train station, she didn't recognise him. Jeff looked in his fridge and looked very unhappy. Kenny rang his girlfriend to break up with her. Ben danced in the street all the way home from the pub. Liz didn't want to drink any wine at the restaurant last night. Debbie put the phone down and began to cry. The Kimming family were standing looking very sad at airport.

  3. When Jane met her father at the train station, she didn't recognise him. He had shaved off the beard he'd had for twenty years.

  4. Kate was dancing around the room with a letter in her hand. She had passed all her exams.

  5. Kenny rang his girlfriend to break up with her. He had seen her in the disco with his best friend.

  6. Jeff looked in his fridge and looked very unhappy. All the cheese had gone bad.

  7. Ben danced in the street all the way home from the pub. The barmaid had made a date with him to go out at the weekend.

  8. Liz didn't want to drink any wine at the restaurant last night. She had driven to the restaurant.

  9. Debbie put the phone down and began to cry. She had heard some very bad news.

  10. The Kimming family were standing looking very sad at airport. They had missed their flight.

  11. Karen came out of the sea holding her foot in pain. She had stepped on a crab.
