  4. Summary • Twelve year old orphan homer runs away from pine swamp, main to find his older brother who has been to the union army . With help homer outwits and outruns a colorful assortment of a civil war era thieves , scallywags and spies as he makes his way south, following clues that finely lead him to Gettysburg. read it to find out what happens to homer p. figg.
