T-Rex(Basic facts) • T-Rex is a fearsome meat eater known as the king of dinosaurs. • There are two major reason why T-Rex was known as the king of dinosaurs. • 1) It’s very big. • 2) It’s very aggressive which is extremely dangerous.
Tyrannosaurus Origins • The Tyrannosaurus or T-Rex existed in the late cretaceous period(about 65 million years ago). • T-Rex is most popular dinosaur today. It’s powerfulness attracted many people. • The name Tyrannosaurus Rex means ‘Tyrant Lizard King’ .
Physical Appearance • T-Rex was the biggest carnivore dinosaur during Jurassic period. • It is over 20 ft tall, 40 ft long and weighing up to 8 tons. • T- Rex was longer than the width of a tennis court, heavier than an African bull elephant and tall enough to look into an upstairs window. • T-Rex had a very large head and sharp teeth which can cut a man into two pieces with one bite.
Physical Appearance A male T-Rex was smaller than female T-Rex!!!!!! As well as a large head, the Tyrannosaurus also had an equally large and stiff tail. Most scientists believed the weight of the tail is unbelievably heavy. T-Rex had a very small arm, which scientists still couldn’t figure out how exactly the arm is used for.
Any other dinosaurs never attacked T-Rex. • But T-Rex couldn’t kill dinosaurs like Brachiosaurus. • That’s because: • 1) It was too big for T-Rex to attack. • 2) T-Rex will easily die if Brachiosaurus attacks T-Rex. • But T-Rex could kill young Brachiosaurus only. Enemies of T-Rex
Interesting facts!(Bonus!) • T-Rex had gigantic head like Young Jun, and gigantic teeth, but the brain was unbelievably small! • T-Rex lived alone. • T-Rex have extinct as well as the other living thing.
