Why we might not be free • Many of our decisions are not make consciously; Hidden bias, for example. • Our brains seem to decide before we are aware of that decision

Compatibilism All of our choices are determined. We could not have done otherwise. But if we are doing what we want to do, we are free and, therefore, responsible for our actions
