The National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984 (23 U.S.C. § 158) was passed on July 17, 1984 by the United States Congress as a mechanism whereby all states would become thereafter required to legislate the age of 21 years as a minimum age for purchasing and publicly possessing alcoholic beverages.
Talking on a hand-held cellphone while driving is banned in 9 states and the District of Columbia. The use of all cellphones by novice drivers is restricted in 30 states and the District of Columbia and the use of all cellphones while driving a school bus is prohibited in 19 states and the District of Columbia.Text messaging is banned for all drivers in 35 states and the District of Columbia. In addition, novice drivers are banned from texting in 7 states and school bus drivers are banned from text messaging in 3 states.
Its happened time and time again and everyone always believes “It wont happen to me”... ...Until it does
Imagine This -Your At A Light -You send a text -The light turns green -The person texts back -The two seconds you take your eyes off the road to reply to the message, could determine life or death.
Live responsibly, a text can wait and driving drunk can be avoided. Think of your options plan your life and make decisions accordingly. Life is too precious and death cannot be reversed.
