FSS Inter-Disciplinary Conference Report • Three key conference outcomes: • NUIM Identity: • The traditional identity of NUIM is associated with the humanities and social science but in a different way from other institutions. The NUIM identity is predominantly an inter-disciplinary identity with a commentary relevant to the current debate in Irish society. Conference participants want to strengthen this identity. At each table-discussion the debates were under-scored by an awareness and concern for the ethos of social justice. Conference participants want to promote this ethos. End of Report:
