  2. How it was Administered • 710 Tennesseans interviewed by Survey Shared Resource Group in the Vanderbilt Medical Center. • January 17th to 23rd • Just following Gov. Haslam’s inauguration • Just after the attempted assassination of Rep. Giffords • Bipartisan Advisory Board screened questions. • Tennessean agreed to cover results.

  3. Overview of Topics Asked • Asked about: • Evaluation of political leaders • Priorities of state government • Opinions on education • Opinions on various issues • Immigration, Gun Control, GLBT, • Demographic information

  4. Many identify with conservative labels

  5. I’d like your views on some government officials. As I read each name, please tell me if you approve or disapprove of how each is handling their job.

  6. What do you think should be the top priority of the Tennessee state government?

  7. The Tennessee state government currently faces budget problems, and cuts in spending for state programs are made often. For each of these programs, please tell me if there should be: no cuts, some cuts, or large cuts.

  8. What grade would you give your local public schools?
