4.0 Managing the WP • The established contacts to SEA-EU Net, EULARINET and the new ChinaAcces4EU are maintained (D 4.1) • Annually progress report (D4.2) and correction actions • An entry point for ICPC countries of the project website has been pushed forward as well as some general improvements of the website.
4.1 NCPs Networking: sharing international contacts • Newly established contacts: • inco-eeca.net. Several presentations were given at the following locations. • Yerevan - Armenia (Oct. 2010): Viorel Vulturescu, Zygmunt Krasinksy • Moscow – Russia (June 2010): Jean-Francois Renault (Germany), Viorel Vulturescu (Romania), • Kyiv – Ukraine (June 2011): Viorel Vulturescu (Romania) • The cooperation with the SEA-EU Net has been deepened during its scientific conference in Budapest (June 2011) Olivier Kuettel Switzerland) • Acess4EU Swiss NCP environment has been nominated as expert to the steering committee for cooperation with New Zeeland (2011)
4.3 NCP TC Awareness and • dissemination hub • updated electronic list of contact persons / NCPs for FP7 and distribution of the first leaflet to ICPC countries. • An ICPC entry point with specific presentations for ICPCs on the project website • Conclusion: we need a strategy on how to disseminate information towards ICPC countries.
4.4 Exchange of expertise with TC NCP like networks • Training in Morocco on 14th /15th October 2010: 1 ½ day seminar: information and training sessions with authorities and researchers at the University Hassan II of Muhamedia with presentations by RO (Viorel Vulturescu, Daniela Vasile (RO), Catherine Holt (UK) and Marion Tobler (CH). The event was well organised and was strongly supported by the Moroccan NCP. • Highlight: Training with pre-screening tool • Training in South Africa in June 2011 at two locations seminars of 1½ day training each : Pretoria (6th /7th June 2011) and Cape Town (8th /9th June 2011). The event was jointly planned together with the NCPs Energy. Presentations for Environment were given by Marion Tobler (CH) and Jean-Francois Renault (Germany), Energy was presented by Pjotr Swiatek (Germany) • Highlight: The European NCPs offered face to face meetings with interested researchers and companies, which were well frequented.
Learnings • Make sure authorities receive a platform • Include administrative staff • Include presentations of local NCPs • Include successful partners from ICPC country • Work with training sessions (interactive learning) • Get information on established partnerships • Get information on needs and feed into task 4.3
