Education This is my second year at Where I am in the ALP program and pursuing my Masters in Education Originally graduating from Western State College in 2006 with a BA in Art and an Emphasis in Photography Myself and husband Sean McCune, high school social studies teacher at Manitou Springs High School. Having grown up in Colorado Springs, graduating from Liberty High School

  3. Professional History Last year I stepped into the classroom as an educational assistant in first grade for Colorado Springs Charter Academy. My prior experience is in finance which is the source of my love for math and passion to teach students its power and relevance. I am excited to be in my first year teaching at Manitou Springs Middle School.

  4. Professional Teaching Experience Goals • Last year I had my first experiences with Love & Logic in a professional setting. This is where I learned that love & logic is my natural parenting style. I also learned that its implementation in a classroom must be modified from that of individual instruction. • To implement Love & Logic to its fullest extent. • Regularly ask myself; are these students learning and how do I know? • Help foster 100% connectivity. • Ensure each individual is prepared for the future they choose.

  5. Personal I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. This was my first summer home with family so we went on several trips, and did lots of household projects! My Grandma and all the cousins Rafting the Arkansas With Jim (my dad), Tyler, myself and Sean. Salvador the Dolphin gives me a hug

  6. Personal I enjoy yoga, riding bike, gardening, reading and writing. I also took up archery with my son, and hope we keep going during the school year… But there is always time to snuggle my Dachshund Oscar! Tyler and Grandpa Earl, 92 years young!
