M y T rip to N orth C arolina. By: Ashley S. My Aunt Linda asked me if I wanted to go North Carolina. I was so excited! I really wanted to go. Now I am so glad I went!!!. I packed up and we drove there. I was so happy when I saw the tip of a mountain!!!

  2. My Aunt Linda asked me if I wanted to go North Carolina. • I was so excited! I really wanted to go. • Now I am so glad I went!!!

  3. I packed up and we drove there. • I was so happy when I saw the tip of a mountain!!! • I still think it was exciting to see a mountain.

  4. We got there at 10.00 at night and went to sleep. • I was so tired!!! • It was so cool! My first day in the mountains.

  5. When we woke up that morning we decided to go hiking. • Hiking is hard, but really fun!!! • Now I know that hiking hurts your legs.

  6. When we got done with 2 long hikes we went to eat and went to bed. • It felt pretty cool knowing that I went on 2 hikes. • Now I know that not a lot of people get to go hiking. It’s pretty cool that I did!

  7. The next day was The 4th of July!!! We went to 2 fairs, a river, then another fair, and saw fire works. • I thought “I’m in the mountains, watching fire works, and eating ice cream it can’t get better!!! • Now I know it really couldn’t get any better.

  8. After fireworks we drove back through heavy traffic to the cabin. • It was really bad traffic. • I still think it was really bad traffic.

  9. The next day we just hung out, watched movies and I played with the dog. • I was sad I’d be leaving tomorrow. • I had fun on my last day!!!

  10. When we woke up we packed and drove home. • I was sad we were leaving. It was so much fun!!! • I made the best of my last day here.

  11. When I got home me and my friends lit off fireworks for a late 4th of July. • I thought it was nice of my friends to save me fireworks. • Now I think it was a great late 4th of July!!!
