  2. The Early Years… • Milton Hershey was born on Sept. 13, 1857 in Derry Church Pennsylvania. • As a young boy, Milton was a family farm boy. • Milton Hershey got married in1898, when he was 41. Interesting fact By the age of 26, Milton Hershey was penniless.

  3. Milton Hershey is Famous because… • Milton Hershey built homes, parks, schools, public transportation and, infrastructure. (A Town) • Milton founded one of the largest chocolate companies.

  4. The Later Years… • Milton Hershey helped the armed forces in World War II. • Milton died in Oct. 13, 1945. • Milton Hershey died at the age of 88. Interesting Fact Milton Hershey died in his own hospital.

  6. My Opinion I think Milton Hershey was a very persevering man. Even though he went bankrupted multiple times, he kept on trying. Milton was very creative too. He was so creative that he made a chocolate bar that would not melt in tropical weather. He was a man who followed dreams and I respect that about him.
