  1. Work Apprenticeship/ experience I would like to go into a social media/ advertising job. I would like to create and update websites and pages for companies on social networking sites and more online. I could possibly take a step further into experiencing a job in the media through an apprenticeship. It could also increase my chances of securing a job in the media in the future through a continuing a full time placement after the apprenticeship. My future career goals Mind Map University The least appealing option that I may still consider is university. If I was to go I would look for a course in digital marketing because I have an interest in online advertisement. Digital marketing Junior head of social media apprenticeship in Angel Station Whitechapel, London Salary- £17500 a year Salary- £600 a month + Increasing £200 every month Possible dilemmas- a lot of competition for the job, sometimes requires a degrees and past experience Cost of commuting out of my home town Cost of living, is it a livable wage? Possible dilemmas- Does not secure you a job after the apprentice Very low salary and long working hours Many do not give a suitable living wage Possible dilemmas- Expensive course at around £9000 and high living costs due to accommodation Usually requires that you live away from home, family and friends Does not secure you a job in the future A lengthy undertaking at a min of 3 years Possible valuable opportunity to create own projects and practice skills over 3 years.

  2. Attributes for employers I am a determined, confident and very approachable young man looking to pursue a career in a media based environment. I am very well spoken, extremely hard working and willing to put in the time to get the job done. I have shown all these attributes during my time at college where I have always completed my work on time and worked very well in others to complete such tasks as creating an advert.
