  3. Workbased Learning Definition • WBL consists of planned career and skill development activities which are designed and developed cooperatively by education, business, industry, parents, and labor representatives to provide learners with quality education- to-careers transition experiences.

  11. Worksite Training • Employees who supervise at the worksite are a critical part of the workbased learning system. Formal training of worksite trainers for apprentices (student learners) is necessary if Tech Prep programs are to attain the level of quality needed for a world-class workforce.
