Access Control in SensorNet with Multiple OwnersFaculty: Gary J. Minden (gminden@eecs.ku.edu), V. S. Frost, D. Niehaus, D. W. Petr, D. D. Deavours. Graduate Students: S. Muralidharan, P. Mani, A. Boie, D. T. Fokum, J. Stevens Goals Access Control in SensorNet • Assured and controlled access to Sensor nodes in a multi-owner environment. • Archiving and information dissemination. • Application supporting high bandwidth requirements. • Rapid deployment of SensorNet. Multi-Owner Environment Applications of Ambient Computing Environment (ACE) in SensorNet • Secure communication of the message exchanges between the client and the sensor node. • Reliable and in-order delivery of control messages. • Access control using Keynote Trust Management. • Provide fine grained control over the set of sensors a client may use. • Provide fine grained control over the set of actions a client can perform on sensors he can access. • Provide a single client access to sensors controlled by multiple organizations.
