Resolve • Resolve will keep me from making excuses (Ezek. 18:14); it comes from focusing on God’s word, not on circumstances or environment • Resolve will keep me from worldliness (Dan. 1:8; 3:16-17; 6:10); it comes from a heart settled ahead of time concerning what is right
Resolve • Resolve will keep me from remaining in my sin (Lk. 15:18); it comes from realizing what it means to be “lost” and “found” • Resolve will keep me pressing toward the goal (Acts 21:10-14; Phil. 3:14; 2 Tim. 4:6-8); it come from focusing on God’s will, not my own will
Resolve • Resolve will keep me busy in the Lord’s work (Jn. 4:4, 34-35; Rom. 1:14-16); it comes from recognizing the urgency of salvation • Resolve will cause me to accept the Lord’s invitation (Rev. 22:17); it comes from appreciating what Christ has to offer • I am resolved!
