Voice Recognition: • We chose voice recognition because of many reasons. But before we get to there, we chose voice recognition because we thought it was a great invention by Ray Kurzweil. • Voice recognition helps people with all disabilities expect the mute. • But we found out that compared to other disabilities muteness wasn’t big in percentage.
Advantages of voice recognition: • Verification is very swift, about 5 seconds. • It’s affordable. • It is a very natural way to interact. • No training is required. • Excellent for people with disabilities. • Allows controlling the device or equipment with ease. • Safety (50/50)
Disadvantages of Voice Recognition: • There can be errors in verification. • Large amount of memory is required to store it. • If you are sick it will not recognize you. • Mutes cannot use it. • Your voice can be recorded and played back.
Conclusion: • Voice recognition system is a really good device that helps a lot of people. It can be used virtually anywhere and/ or for anything. • Voice recognition, from our point of view is one of the best inventions mankind has come across, mainly because it helps people, who are normal and those who have disabilities. • It is very attractive and is considered “hi – tech”
