  5. Lesson 2.2 WORK HISTORIESAND STABLE JOBS • Stable job = • is one that you consider to be permanent and that may last several years. • Self-direction = • means setting goals and taking steps to get there. • Promotion = • means advancement to a higher-level job or position. Chapter 2
