October 4th, 2013 • Isabel says she passed a woman on her way to deliver the note to Curzon. “The woman said nothing as she passed by… but started signing the second verse of YankeeDoodle in a strong voice, which I thought curious indeed. {Isabel} listened close to the words. Father and I went down to camp, Along with captain Gooding; and there we saw the men and boys, as thick as hasty pudding.” (Anderson 99)What is the message the woman sends Isabel?
