  11. Additional Ongoing Activities • Coordination of surface hydrology and river components • Addition of subsurface flow model to core JANSWERS • Integrate atmospheric model with JANSWERS and River3D • Integrate above into EHAT portal

  12. Additional Ongoing Activities • Performance testing and benchmarking using GLOBUS • Enhance River3D with unstructured grid using arbitrarily shaped element method (ASEM) • Experience with River3D on NT, Linux • Coordinate with GRID development team

Additional Ongoing Activities • Midwest flash flood analysis • Select suitable basin • Collect high resolution static input parameters • Select atmospheric event • Run River3D and jCS2 coupled to JANSWERS to evaluate flood • Utilization of OPIE for web based implementation • International 3D River Modeling Conference, Summer ’02, IIHR

  14. FY01 Needs • Continued assistance from AT team member Bill Hibbard on visualization • Further assistance implementing OPIE in Environmental Hydrology applications • Linux cluster accounts for integration and testbed runs • JAVA on Linux cluster for porting of JANSWERS
