  14. WHY Dress Professionally? • Maintain respect • Establish credibility • Establish yourself as an authority figure • Stipulations to dress "professionally" or "appropriately" are subjective and leave wide gaps for interpretation.

Tips for maintaining professionalism • Search yourself • Check privacy settings for all accounts • Alter your search names • Middle name, instead of last name • Be aware of message you are portraying • Don’t post inappropriate pictures • would you show it to your mom? • Consider content you are displaying • When in doubt don’t post
