  3. Who IS Yeshua Yochanan/John 1:1-3, 14 “Lesson 1”

  4. Yochanan 1:1-3, 14 1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2. He was in the beginning with God. 3. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 14. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

  5. In the Beginning • “The Word” was in the beginning? • What do you do when you want someone to know what you are thinking? • “The Word,” Yeshua, tells us what God is like and what He is thinking.

  6. Yeshua the Word • Yeshua was in the beginning with God! • Yeshua didn’t just begin as a little baby. • He has been around forever.

  7. A Triangle • Even though a triangle has three points, does that mean it’s three triangles? • There is God: • The Father • The Son • The Spirit (Ruach Ha Kodesh). • There is only one God.

  8. Another Example – The Egg • An egg has a shell, the white and a yolk. • God is three in one, like that egg. • Three parts that make up one whole.

  9. Yeshua the Creator • Anything that has ever been created, was created by Yeshua, The Word. • There isn’t one created thing that Yeshua didn’t make! • Yeshua is God, and we worship ONE God.

  10. Yeshua the Light • Yeshua came as light to a dark place. • Believing in Yeshua is choosing to walk in the Light • Yeshua is the Light of men and He shines in the darkness.
