6 Domain Area questions 1. Efficiency and financial sustainability – how do we ensure that we have enough resources to meet the needs of our community? 2. Coordination and collaboration – How can we coordinate and collaborate with the legal assistance sector so that we can achieve a fair and just Queensland? 3. Quality and continuous improvement – How do we know we are providing quality services to the community and what are the opportunities for improvement? Developing a sector sustainability plan|4
6 Domain areas 4. Access to justice and client centred service delivery – how do we make sure that our services are targeted where they are most needed? 5. Workforce capability and sustainability – how can we ensure that we have the workforce that we need and there are opportunities to develop expertise in our sector 6. The process • 6 domain areas – 6 groups – 6 tables • 1 person in the group stays at the table the whole cycle to record and facilitate (facilitator) • Each table has a domain area with a key question for discussion for 5 minutes • On the butchers paper the facilitator records actions or activities (individual or collective) that come out of the discussion • After 5 mins the facilitatorstays the rest of the group moves onto the new domain area • The facilitator updates the new group about the domain area and helps move the discussion onto new actions or activities • New ideas for actions or activities get recorded • The cycle continues until each group has discussed all 6 domain areas.
