What is Emotional Intelligence? Process definition “EI is the habitual practice of thinking about feeling (and feeling about thinking) to manage behaviour.” Coaching definition “How I manage my personality.” For example, an Introvert may have a preference for working on their own, however, all Introverts are capable of working effectively with others. It’s not how smart you are but how you are smart!

EI: Sustainable impact Based on feedback from 150 Mangers who attended Mie Workshops
EI – Sustainable Impact “I have found it particularly useful to identify and recognise the triggers which use up much negative energy. I now feel more able to remove myself from the 'survival zone' far more quickly and not dwell on negative thoughts.” “Mainly because it has given me confidence in me! It will make me think more about the value of some of my approaches (e.g. just spending time with people I work with, taking time to get to know how they tick, the importance of management visibility and approachability)” “This is life changing. Last week I wanted to resign. Today I feel energised and proud to work here and that I have the tools I need to succeed.” “It made me look at why I was being negative to certain colleagues and recognise that I always have a choice. I have started to challenge myself to rather than sit back and criticise”
EI: a link to career sustainability ”The combination of factors and processes which enable people to progress towards or get into employment, to stay in employment, and to move on in the workplace.”
