  2. INTRODUCTION d In this power point I will teach you about the KAMCHATKA BEAR. I hope you learn about the Kamchatka bear and have a great time.

  3. Kamchatka's Physical Characteristics This is a Kamchatka Brown Bear! This bear has dark fur! This bear has a lot of fur! The size of the bear is 9 ft. long! The bear is like a usual bear!

  4. The Places the Bear Lives The bear lives in • Russia • Far Eastern • Uda Bay • Shanter Island • Kuril Island

  5. What does it eat? • These foods are what the bears eat. • They eat like other bears.

  6. The Way it Protects Itself Kamchatka Bears fight to protect Itself. The thick fur makes them warm in the winter. They fight like other bears.

  7. Life Cycle • The cub is born and then it is raised by all the grown Kamchatka bears for three years. Then the cub goes to a cave and lives with another grown Kamchatka bear and then they have a baby cub.

  8. Baby Cubs • This is a baby cub climbing a tree. • These brown bears are • Kamchatka bears. • This is a cub walking around the grass.

  9. How the Kamchatka Bears Help People The thick fur of the bear gives us warmth. We csn make a lot of stuff with the fur. For Example: Carpet Jacket

  10. The Kamchatka’s Body • The bear has a lot of fur that is dark. The bear is about 9 FEET Tall. The tail is 6-12 inches long, and the shoulder is 50-53 inches tall. The bear is huge!

  11. Population of the Kamchatka Bear • This is the population of the Kamchatka Bear Since 1995-2007. The population is going down.

  12. Is the Kamchatka Bear Endangered? • The Kamchatka bear is endangered as you saw in the population chart. Since the Kamchatka bear is in danger I think WE should help the bear.
