Simplify retailer promotional item ordering through pre-loaded order quantities You can review and edit the initial preloaded order quantities prior to submitting the orders. TIER 1 18 Promotions All backed with radio and on-line advertising 11 of the 18 include TV advertising 15 Fully integrated promotions based on retail sales data and seasonality that include: Preprint (Circulars) TV or Radio (TV/Radio category) One to One/Ace Rewards On-line promotions 3 National Events TIER 2 7 Recommended Promotions All backed by national media (Radio and On-line) At a minimum National media items should be supported in-store TIER 3 There are NO pre-loaded bulletins for Tier 3. This is an optional advertising opportunity for individual stores and retailer groups. Market-wide events Supplementary preprints Individual custom postcards Promotional Tiers

    7. The Merchandising Inventory Management team will develop pre-loaded bulletin order quantities for each of the ’08 consumer marketing plan promotions. Pre-loaded quantities will be based on Retail Sales Volume. There are three categories: Small - less than $900,000 Medium - $900,000 – $1.5 million Large - above $1.5 million The retail sales volume category (small, medium, large) can be changed at the retailer’s discretion. You can view your assigned category in ACENET on the pending order tab. To change your product assortment category, contact Judy Petrovic at 630-472-4011. How are the Pre-loaded Quantities Determined?

    8. Tier One Promotions High visibility items are pre-loaded: The three items advertised on TV and Radio (with the exception of Ace Paint). Those items on the front and back covers of the preprints and key featured items inside the preprint. Tier Two Promotions The three items (from the TV/Radio category) will be pre-loaded for each Promotion (with the exception of Ace Paint). Tier two includes Radio and On-line advertising. Note: Orders for the product above will be conveniently pre-loaded as ACENET bulletin orders, complete with recommended quantities based on a store’s retail sales data. The orders can be found under pending orders on ACENET.

    9. Optional Pallet/Display Deals Seasonal Purchases Import Product

    10. Once signed in on ACENET, adjust bulletin order quantities (up, down or to zero). Pre-loaded bulletin order quantities are available for review 3 weeks prior to the due date. Orders must be submitted by the due date (the third Friday of every month). You will receive the pre-loaded order quantities unless you change, save and submit the new order quantities. Note:  Specific, separate bulletin dates will still apply for the three National Events – (Memorial Day, Grand Opening, After Thanksgiving Sale). Order quantities will NOT be pre-loaded for the National Events. Order for National Events as you normally would.

    15. Review, modify and add order quantities. Click Save As Pending - to save any changes. For multi-store ordering, click the Multi-Store button. Modify Pre-loaded Quantities and Enter New Quantities for Additional Items on the Bulletin

Reverse PO: If your store is utilizing Reverse PO: Once you submit the bulletin order, it will be sent to your Eagle for Windows system through an electronic hotsheet record the following day (if you are doing a hotsheet communication daily). When you submit the order you will have an option to enter a PO number, or the system will generate a PO number for you. Promotions: The promotions will be downloaded to your Eagle for Windows system through hotsheet records two weeks prior to the start date of the promotion. The Promo Id will be the promotion start date (YYMMDD) preceded by the number 1. Example: The Leap Into Savings promotion starts February 27, 2008. the promotional download will occur 2-13-08 the promo id will be 1080227 (preceding 1, year, month, day) Interface with Activant

    20. Signing up for a Pre-recorded Session: Sign on to ACENET. Click on Learning Center (under the Red Ace Today Header). On the Learning Center Home Page – go to Class Descriptions | Pre-Recorded Events. Locate the Reverse PO – Bulletin / Dropship Ordering course and Click the “Learn now” link. OR: Signing up for a Live training session: Sign on to ACENET. Click on Learning Center (under the Red Ace Today Header). Click on “View Events Calendar – Register now” to view the monthly training calendar. Click on a Reverse PO class to register for a live session.
