This is an introductory course that develops students' problem-solving skills, with a variety of design challenges. • In this course students develop solutions to design challenges using the engineering design process. With a computer and a 3-D solid modeling software students produce, analyze, and evaluate models of projects and solutions. • Students will study the design concepts of form and function • This class meets the Technology Education Credit Introduction to engineering design Mr. Krach
Students are introduced to engineering design and development through software engineering robotics technology. • Students explore and develop an understanding of technological issues and their influence on history. • Student projects involve developing software for applications in the study of energy and power, construction, manufacturing, and communication. • Student lab experiences involve projects demonstrating their understanding of the design processes, identifying and defining problems, and realizing design solutions. • This class meets the Technology Education Credit Design Technical Solutions Mr. Pazulski
