Address Validation • BellSouth receives addresses from various sources: • Federal and State agencies • Developers • BellSouth Engineers • BellSouth is dependant on the source that is providing the address.
Commingling • New Commingling Orders Step 1: If submitting for the first time contact the LSM group to discuss the ordering process, User Guides and the steps to issue orders. Step 2: LSM will coordinate a working conference call with CLEC Provisioning Group to discuss the LSR requirements.
Commingling – New Loop • MBWC- New DS1 loops – NTCD1(BCS) New Commingled UNE DS1 Loop (NTCD1) Collo SPA DS3 IOF and SPA MUX EU SWC POP SWC • SPA DS3 Transport must be in place prior to submitting orders for the new UNE DS1 http://www.interconnection.bellsouth.com/reference_library/guides/unedocs/commingling.pdf

Commingling Lessons Learned • Every Network is different • Will not and can not be treated as a cookie cutter • ICB
Commingling Lessons Learned LSR…… • SBWC (EELs) • CMA is required. Found in the Data Dictionary section of the LOH on the LS Loop Service page. (example: “D”= combination 4, Note 4: The valid entry of “D” (Combination 4) is used to order a configuration consisting of a Special Access interoffice channel and a UNE loop.) You must determine the architecture. • SPEC Code is XDH1X • TOS is 1G-- • MBWC • Normal ordering scenarios apply
Commingling Conversion Step 1: CLEC to Contact the LSM Group Step 2: LSM/NSE to set up fact finding conference call with CLEC to identify current network architecture & proposed conversion architecture. Step 3: CLEC Care will take the customers scenario and determine if there is a current process in place, a process under development and/or the need for an interim work around process. LSM to determine if request meets project management criteria. Step 4: LSM sets up working conference call with CLEC Customer to share findings and discuss order issuance process. Step 5: Implementation
Commingling Clarifications • Step 1: Call the LCSC • Step 2: Call the LSM and the LSM will work with the LCSC Management and LCSC staff • Step 3: LSM will request assistance from the NSE if needed
271 in Georgia Based on the COL order, Georgia asserted that it had authority to require BellSouth to provide 271 elements equivalent to the de-listed High Capacity Loop (DS1 and DS3 Loops) and Transport (DS1 Interoffice Channel and DS3 Interoffice Channel) Unbundled Network Elements (UNEs). The 271 elements will be offered in the un-impaired wire centers in Georgia. 271 High Capacity Loop and Transport http://www.interconnection.bellsouth.com/reference_library/guides/unedocs/271_highcap_loop_pkg_v2.doc 271 DS1 Loop http://www.interconnection.bellsouth.com/reference_library/guides/unedocs/271_ds1_pkg.doc
