  5. ADDTIONS/CHANGES FOR SRP ADDTIONS/CHANGES FOR SRP ADDTIONS/CHANGES FOR SRP NOTES: A – This project is still being studied and neither the in-service date nor the TTC/ETC/ATC is firm. Expected SRP TTC for PV-PW line is 270MW. When the project goes into service the expected ETC = 0 MW, ATC = 270 MW. By the end of SRP’s 10yr plan (2016) the expected ETC = 270 MW, ATC = 0 MW. B - This project is still being studied and neither the in-service date nor the TTC/ETC/ATC is firm. Expected SRP TTC for PV-PW-PS-BRG line is 270MW + 453MW = 723MW. When the project goes into service the expected ETC = 600 MW, ATC = 123MW. By the end of SRP’s 10yr plan (2016) the expected ETC = 487, TRM = 113MW, ATC = 123 MW. C - This project is still being studied and neither the in-service date nor the TTC/ETC/ATC is firm. Expected SRP TTC for DB-PW line is 600MW. When the project goes into service the expected ETC = 600 MW, ATC = 0 MW. By the end of SRP’s 10yr plan (2016) there is no change in ETC/TRM/ATC. D – Path 54 is currently in the WECC 3-phase path rating process to determine the increase in rating due to the addition of Springerville Unit 3 and redefinition of the path. When completed it is expected that the path will be redefined such that instead of being composed of two lines (Coronado/Cholla plus Coronado/Silverking) it will be composed of a single line (Coronado/Silverking). Expected SRP TTC for CO-SK line is 1100MW + 33MW = 1133MW. When the project goes into service the expected ETC = 873MW, TRM = 100, ATC = 160MW. E – Path 54 is currently in the WECC 3-phase project rating process to determine the increase in rating due to the addition of Springerville Unit 4. Expected SRP TTC for CO-SK line is 1100MW + 33MW + 330MW = 1463MW. When the project goes into service the expected ETC = 1283MW, TRM = 100MW, ATC = 80MW. By the end of SRP’s 10yr plan (2016) there is no change in ETC/TRM/ATC. F – The redefinition of Path 54 removes the Coronado/Cholla line from the definition of Path 54. A separate study will need to be undertaken to determine a TTC for the Coronado/Cholla path. G – The addition of the Second Knoll Substation on the Coronado/Cholla line will alter this path’s rating and will require a study which has not been started yet. H – Expected SRP TTC for Path 63 is 236MW + 113MW = 349MW. When the project goes into service the expected ETC = 349 MW, ATC = 0 MW. By the end of SRP’s 10yr plan (2016) there is no change in ETC/TRM/ATC. I – This project is still being studied and neither the in-service date nor the TTC/ETC/ATC is firm. . Expected SRP TTC for NAV-WW line is 1404MW + 518MW = 1922MW. When the project goes into service the expected ETC = 1071 MW, TRM = 210MW, ATC = 641 MW. By the end of SRP’s 10yr plan (2016) the expected ETC = 1123 MW, TRM = 210MW, ATC = 589 MW. F - APS is developing the Palo Verde to North Gila and Palo Verde to TS5 to TS9 to Pinnacle Peak 500kV projects and SRP is a potential participant in both projects. SRP potential participation ranges from 10% to 50% and participation is dependent upon timing, costs, and ratings. Participation agreements have not been executed. See APS Additions/Changes Table for specific information on the projects.

  6. ADDITIONS/CHANGES FOR SRP NOTES* A – This project is under construction and is expected to be in service by the end of summer 2008. Expected SRP TTC for PV-PW line is 303MW. When the project goes into service the expected ETC = 0 MW, ATC = 303 MW. B - This project is still being studied and neither the in-service date nor the TTC/ETC/ATC is firm. Expected SRP TTC for PV-PW-PC-BRG line is 303MW + 560MW = 863MW. When the project goes into service the expected ETC = 600 MW, ATC = 263MW. C - This project is still being studied and neither the in-service date nor the TTC/ETC/ATC is firm. Expected SRP TTC for DB-PW line is 450MW. When the project goes into service the expected ETC = 450 MW, ATC = 0 MW. D – Path 54 has gone through the WECC 3-phase path rating process to determine the increase in rating due to the addition of Springerville Unit 3 and redefinition of the path. The path is now composed of a single line (Coronado/Silverking). The SRP TTC for CO-SK line is now 1133MW. The expected ETC = 1033MW, TRM = 100, ATC = 0MW. *Note that projections of ETC and ATC out to the end of the 10YR plan are not being provided because of the uncertainty associated with forecasting that far into the future.

  9. ADDITIONS/CHANGES FOR SRP NOTES E – Path 54 is currently in the WECC 3-phase project rating process to determine the increase in rating due to the addition of Springerville Unit 4. Expected SRP TTC for CO-SK line is 1133MW + 361MW = 1494MW. When the project goes into service the expected ETC = 1394MW, TRM = 100MW, ATC = 0MW. F –A study is in progress to determine a TTC for the Coronado/Cholla path. G – The addition of the Sugarloaf Substation on the Coronado/Cholla line will alter this path’s rating and ETC and will require a path rating study which has not been started yet. H – Expected SRP TTC for Path 63 is 236MW + 113MW = 349MW. When the project goes into service the expected ETC = 236MW, ATC = 113 MW. I – This project is still being studied and neither the in-service date nor the TTC/ETC/ATC is firm. . Expected SRP TTC for NAV-WW line is 1404MW + 580MW = 1984MW. When the project goes into service the expected ETC = 1071 MW, TRM = 210MW, ATC = 703 MW. NOTE - APS is developing the Palo Verde to North Gila and Palo Verde to TS5 to TS9 to Pinnacle Peak 500kV projects and SRP is a potential participant in both projects. SRP potential participation ranges from 10% to 50% and participation is dependent upon timing, costs, and ratings. Participation agreements have not been executed. See APS Additions/Changes Table for specific information on the projects.
