FAULTS • The line along which rocks break and move
Normal Faults • Caused by tension forces • Hanging wall moves down
Reverse Faults • Caused by compression forces • Hanging wall moves up
Strike-slip Faults • Opposing forces cause rock to break • Move horizontally
