Results and Conclusions (1) ‘Guidance and Counselling’ • Organised within the framework of a Contact Seminar; networking of public and private organisations as one major aim • Workshops as fora of exchange of views and discussions • Need of widening the services of guidance and counselling, e.g. lifelong guidance for employees and training of counsellors

Results and Conclusions (2) ‘Integration of Migrants’ • 6 workshops dealing with specific questions • Many similarities in training methodologies and philosophies of the projects: possible synergies identified • Great need of examples of good practice; comparison with USA as example of mixed cultures and easier integration

Results and Conclusions (3) ‘(Re)-integration of Physically Disabled and People with learning Disabilities’ • 3 working groups dealing with different aspects: Access to education and training; Impact of ICT; Barriers to employment • Access to VET and LLL as key factors • Awareness raising as specific aim

  14. Results and Conclusions (4) ‘Development of Entrepreneurship’ • 2 main aspects: ‘Job creation’ – New employment opportunities; and ‘Job protection’ – Development of skills within companies • Sectoral approach as a key question • Responsibility of NAs to create ‘national marketplaces’

General Conclusions • Smaller events as useful as larger conferences, allowing more active participation and in-depth discussion • Emphasising the role of NAs as facilitators and moderators of the implementation process at national level • Opening of project activities and involvement of relevant stakeholders to be considered at an early stage of the project

  16. Follow Up • Follow-up to the seminars by taking the results and defined needs of the projects into account • Smaller Valorisation events to themes of relevance • At national level: Seminars planned on Entrepreneurship, Language learning, Integration and Guidance, open for other countries
