  2. Communication and Design Process Group • Mission Statement • To define a Process and Vehicle that will identify roles, responsibilities,activities and information required from all participants to support the total program from pre-kickoff to aircraft delivery

  3. Communication and Design Process Group • Responsibility Matrix • A brainstorming session produced the basic requirements of each party to prepare for and participate in an ITCM for seat integration • The draft material produced will be formatted and updated individually via e-mail

  4. Communication and Design Process Group Airline • Supplier Selections (adhere to selection dates) • Supplier notification • Inter-Supplier communication • Equipment definition finalized • Contractual agreement between customers and suppliers • LOPA • System requirements

Communication and Design Process Group Seat Supplier • List of fit and test equipment requirements • Preliminary Seat envelope drawings with electrical component layout: • IFE components, Seat power, PC power, monitor arms, console stowage, telephones, reading lights, seat and accessory control buttons and switches. • List of electrical components including supplier names • Notification of schedule and long lead requirements

  8. Communication and Design Process Group • Resource Material • Boeing Cabin Systems Payloads Integration Team Interim Agreement • This document will be edited to be a general reference guideline for cabin systems/IFE/seat integration and provided to waea.org/workinggroups web site in January.
