AES is an Internet based communications system designed to assist Building and Facilities managers and their engineers with the flow of information related to their asset maintenance and costs Automated Engineering System
In 1990 we managed 100 facilities with over 200,000 assets and 600,000 work orders. The system used was similar to AES but did not have alerting or Internet features. At the end of 1990 Safeway saved $3M over its facilities maintenance cost in 1989. Safeway Experience
