To remember: Purpose / Tasks of the Working Group “WG-CPI” • “Role of the cadastral parcel in INSPIRE and national SDIs with impacts on cadastre and land registry operations” • Define the role of the cadastral parcel in INSPIRE and NSDIs • Important to have a common understanding of terminology and scope • Get a clearer view of how the cadastral parcel can link the citizen to environmental information and the land market WG-CPI Joint Working Group of EG and the PCC
Main tasks /1 • Analysis of the proposal of the INSPIRE directive • Assess the European needs and requirements concerning the cadastral parcel • Analysis of the wider role of the cadastral parcel and other property units within NSDIs • Production of an inventory (document) of the role of the cadastral parcel WG-CPI Joint Working Group of EG and the PCC
Main tasks /2 • Reply on • What is a cadastral parcel, common definition (?), how different countries define it, • What is the commission looking for • Gain and spread information on INSPIRE process, connection to the SDIC´s within our community WG-CPI Joint Working Group of EG and the PCC
Activities / 1 • Work plan of the joint EG-PCC-Project adopted in Paris, March 2nd 2005 • 1st meeting of the WG: 31st March-1st April 2005 in Bruxelles • 2nd meeting of the WG: 15th June 2005 in Luxembourg • New chair of the WG: Julius Ernst, AT • Meeting of a core Team: 12th-13th July 2005 in Vienna • Draft of the questionnaire, letter, INSPIRE- analysis • Discussion via email (Clare Hadley, Bozena Lipeij,..) WG-CPI Joint Working Group of EG and the PCC
Activities / 2 • Sending out of the questionnaire to all members by PCC and EG: 8th August 2005 • Presentation of the project at the General assembly of EG in Island by Bozena Lipeij • Agreement by the representatives • Work on the responds to the questionnaire • The questionnaire was replied by 26 countries • Missing countries were/will be contacted again WG-CPI Joint Working Group of EG and the PCC
Activities /3 • Development of a first draft of an inventory document (as a summary of the questionnaire) • C. Schreiner, F. Kaell and W. Zeddies 17th/18th Oct 2055 in Luxembourg • supplements by J. Ernst before Meeting in Southampton (25th October) WG-CPI Joint Working Group of EG and the PCC
Activities / 4 • Meeting of the WG-CPI in Southampton Oct. 25th 2005 • Presentation of the present results • Discussion in the WG • Further development of the draft inventory document • Clarify some open/unclear questions for next contact of countries • Preparation of a new version of the inventory document • Spreadsheet with all results • Explanations /open questionsUnclearly or inaccurate entries/figures made it sometimes difficult to interpret the answer and fill in the spreadsheet • Avoid misinterpretations of the analysis • Addition of remarkable comments WG-CPI Joint Working Group of EG and the PCC
Activities /5 • Discussion in Toledo with the other members of Cadastral Expert Group of EG and the PCC • Contact all countries by sending out the draft version of the inventory with additional remarks/questions: • after Meeting in Toledo 14th/15th November • Include the complete result WG-CPI Joint Working Group of EG and the PCC
