The process of implementation of the new postgraduate training program in Public Health was monitored and evaluated in accordance with the requirements of institutional Quality Management System ISO 9001/2008

Results of modules evaluation regarding the characteristics of the courses, practical work at the department and in the Center for Public Health Note: Practical work at the Center for Public Health within modules 2, 4, 5, 8 and 9 have been not planned
Proposals to improve the education process • To increase the time for practical work, including individual computer activity • Students should be actively involved in the projects implemented by University and Centers for Public Health • To exclude repetition of the practical work performed at the University Department, in Center for Public Health • To employ the second year residents as assistants of specialists with medical background • More practical work to be planned • To replace the practical work in the units of Infectious Disease Hospital with practical work in Centers for Public Health • Reduction of theoretical courses
Proposals for optimization of working day structure • To reduce the duration of the working day • To revise the working days structure • To reduce the repetition of materials • The material taught is very complicated and working days are overloaded
Conclusions • Most master students/residents accept the new Master Program in Public Health. • The highest appreciation was given to the module "Informational Technologies in Public Health" and the most objections with regard to the performed didactic activities were expressed to the "Health promotion and health education" module. • The presented objections and proposals covered all didactic activities: theoretical courses, the organization and content of practical activities at the Departments and in Centers for Public Health. • The proposals for participation of residents in projects and also those for their employment were discussed and they were submitted for examination. • Preparation of an analytic information at the end of the 1st year of studies to be examined by the Faculty Council. • Optimization of the number of modules and improving practical working conditions at the Departments and in Centers for Public Health.
