  3. Purpose of the ATPF website • the pages for the public people. • to provide useful business information • to introduce ATPF activities • to be the gateway to each TPO’s website

Purpose of the ATPF website 2) the pages for ATPF members • to share information which is related to every ATPF activity, so that every ATPF member knows both the latest and the past activities. • to revitalize the communication among ATPF members through member’s board. Members can easily post opinions, positively give information and ask questions.

  5. Problems before the update • Rarely used by both ATPF members and general people. • No more than 1,000 accesses to ATPF top page per day. We realized that the website is not convenient enough in the contents. The number of access to ATPF website for all pages

  6. Problems before the update News are rarely updated. Contents are complicated Contexture is not organized well. Explanation of ATPF is located in obscure place.

(1) Renewal points~ATPF introductory page; About ATPF ~ • ATPF website is an useful tool for public business people who are considering trade with Asian countries, so we need to familiarize it with them. • Not every ATPF member can attend the meetings or joint activities, so they can catch up with the most recent discussion and movements by the website.

  9. (2) Renewal points~Member TPO introductory page ~ • There are introductory pages of each member TPO on the right part of the top page. The page explains how to turn to practical use of each member’s website. Besides, we inserted links to important campaigns that each TPO is currently working on, which is called “gateway” to your organization.

  10. (3) Renewal points~ATPF member’s board~ • ATPF members can communicate with each other by using the member’s board on the website. You can freely post the message, state the new opinion and ask any questions. Every member is allowed to use the board for discussion.

  12. (4) Renewal points~Japanese version ~ • In general, Japanese people prefer Japanese pages, and they tend to search data with Japanese key words. • JETRO decided to translate the English pages into Japanese for Japanese people to make good use of the website. Select language

  13. Requests • Please frequently check the website, especially ‘contact list’ and introductory page of each TPO. If need of update arises, please inform ATPF WLM secretariat immediately. • Try to introduce the website to the companies around your organization. • Try to utilize the TPO introductory pages as a gateway to your website. • Please give ideas actively to improve the website through member’s board.
