Research Development Purpose Research Development is the Newest Initiative in the Office of Research and Health Sciences. It was Created to Accelerate the Development of Collaborative Teams of USC Faculty, and to Assist Them in Developing Multimillion Dollar Competitive Proposals.
Cultivate a Funding Strategy • Assess Areas of Interest and Existing Expertise • Coordinate Preliminary Meeting • Locate Funding Opportunities • Establish Principal Investigator (PI) • Identify Internal and External Collaborators
Proposal Development Process • Review Guidelines • Create Checklist • Assemble Working Groups • Develop a Timeline • Assign Individual Tasks
