Habitat Facts • Ladybugs live in yards, parks, forests, and fields. • Ladybugs are happy in many different habitats, including grasslands, forests, cities, suburbs, and along rivers. • Seven spotted ladybugs are native to Europe but were brought to North America in the mid1900s to control the aphid populations.
Diet Facts • Ladybugs generally feed on aphids, scale insects, mealy bugs,spider mites, and other harmful plant pests. • Though most ladybugs eat insects, a few species eat plants and are considered pests.
