About the Fair. Our Back -to-School Fair is a way to welcome students and families to a new school year, spread awareness about foster children, provide access to community resources and have fun at the same time .

About the Fair • Our Back-to-School Fair is a way to welcome students and families to a new school year, spread awareness about foster children, provide access to community resources and have fun at the same time. • This year our Back-to-School Fair will benefit Foster Kids Charity, a non profit organization with a mission to provide clothing, toys & nutritious food to foster children in the state of Texas. About 500 students, parents and community members are expected to attend to discover the many resources that the DFW community has to offer. Advance funds and donations from area businesses and organizationshelp make the fair possible.
Entertainment • The Critter Man: Live furry animal show (10 am-11 am) • A Bounce House • Arts & crafts • Ice Cream • Face painting • Free hair cuts • Free eye/hearing tests • Free back packs & school supplies • Raffle • Mavs Man • Radio Channels such as 94.5 and 97.9 FM
What You May Win in the Raffle • $100 Gift Certificate: “Learn how to Skate” • 2 Free Movie Tickets • Free dinner for two certificate at local restaurant • $50 Gas Card

How do I donate backpacks or an item/service for the prize drawings? • Please complete and submit an online participation form, or print the form and mail it to Foster Kids Charity, 12830 Hillcrest Rd #111 Dallas Texas 75230
Are donations tax deductible? • Yes, your donations to the Back-to-School Fair are considered a charitable contribution. You will receive a letter that includes the Foster Kids Charity Inc. employer identification number for your tax-exempt contribution.
Why Should I Donate? • The Back-to-School Fair is an annual event presented by Foster Kids Charity, with key support from businesses, community organizations and individuals. This year, as families continue to face economic challenges, we want every child who visits the fair to go home with a backpack. Your contributions are essential in helping us meet this goal. Funds are also greatly needed to support our charity mission. Donations will go towards purchasing clothing and items in need for children in Foster care. In addition to funding, donors may wish to contribute door prizes or offer children’s activities. • A range of sponsorship levels is available. In gratitude for your support of our students and the Back-to-School Fair, donors will be recognized in a variety of ways.
