  5. Where do seeds come from? Seeds come from plants. Each kernel of corn is a SEED!

  8. A seed can become a pumpkin plant or asunflower. Seeds grow into many different kindsof plants.

  9. How do we know what a seed will become? A seedbecomes the kind of plant it came from. The seeds youfind in a watermelon grow into watermelon plants.

  10. The seeds inside an apple only grow into apple trees.Apple seeds can never grow into orange trees.

  11. What do seeds need to grow? Seeds needwater. The rain is water. The rain helps manyseeds grow.

  12. Seeds also need good soil. Seeds grow up through the soil.

  13. Seeds need sunlight. Soil, water, and sunlight arewhat most seeds need to become plants.
