  2. The Programme I Used • I used the mac software, Maya to create my iDent with. The assignment was to create some kind of iDent that might get shown before a TV show, on any channel.

  3. How I Made my iDent I made my iDent by going to create text and typing in the letters that are in my name. I typed each letter separately and moved them around in Maya to make them in line with each other. Highlighting the first letter, I right clicked on it and went to assign new material. First, I clicked blinn and that brought up the option to change the colour. I did this with the rest of the letters, making each one a different colour to make it look nice. I then went to fluid effects, ocean and create ocean and this created the water for my letters to float on. I also added a camera and whilst that was highlighted, clicked on look through selected. This showed what my iDent looked like through the camera. I then created a sun and made it go over my letters and down at the end to make a sunset.

  4. When my iDent would be used My iDent shows the letters floating on water in daytime. The sun then suddenly comes over and goes down at the end to make a sunset. This would probably be shown at night time when it’s dark out before programmes.
