Hardest to Find, Mechanisms… Pick up Sticks (Toys R Us) Spacers (Hardware Store) Multi-Color/Size/Shape Beads & Blocks (Toy Stores etc.) Gears (Lego &/or Kelvin Catalog)
First challenge was to simply to develop stable structures... Started simple with pure mechanical structures. No electronics or computation …
Eventually… Worked up to the standard Bugs & Cars (Only pulley rather than gears)
