GEOGRAPHY France is one of the largest countries in Europe and has lots of hills and mountains . The Alps are famous for their amazing heights. The highest point is 15,771 feet tall. France is 212,686 square miles. The Northern France Plains have a rich fertile soil, which is good for farming. France borders lots of countries and has a long coastline. The coastline is 2,300 miles long.
CLIMATE The climate in France is atemperate climate. The climate in France varies from north to south . The south of France has a mild winters and hot summer. The north of France has rainy summers and mild winters. The differences in temperature comes fromthe distance from the sea.
